The Dan Orlovsky Foundation was created three years ago by Shelton native Dan Orlovsky with the intent to enrich the lives of children across Connecticut. Dan was drafted and joined the NFL in 2005, but has never forgotten his roots. Even though he plays for the Texans in Houston, The Dan Orlovsky Foundation allows Dan the opportunity to give back to his community, and the state he loves.
The Dan Orlovsky Foundation strives to provide opportunities for children across Connecticut who are in need. The Dan Orlovsky Foundation has been able to make many contributions to many communities across the area including: purchasing and donating computers to local hospitals, sponsoring in-need families during the Holiday Season, and assisting in the purchase of a handicap-accessible vehicle for a local teenager. The Dan Orlovsky Foundation recently began planning for its Capital Campaign: The Dan Orlovsky Foundation Locker Room at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center - a place where kids can be kids. The Dan Orlovsky Foundation cannot accomplish its mission without your help. Please consider donating, participating, or volunteering, and help a young child reach their goal line. |
